From One Project to Another

Well, our new front door is finally 99% finished. We still don't have a new doorbell yet, and some of the trim needs to finished up around the bottom, but I'm excited about what Brett has been able to do so far. It makes such a big difference. Looking at the picture, I see that it is time we replaced the door mat as well. Something to put on my "To Do" list.

Our next home improvement project is being done today. We're getting a new roof. I am very excited about that. Our old one is . . . old. And ugly. We've had a few small leaks that have shown up in the form of water stains on the ceilings. Brett was thinking about doing it himself, but decided to hire it out. By the end of today it should be finished--completely. Look for an "after" photo sometime (maybe soon...or not).
