Volume Control

Do you ever wish your child's voice had volume control? Have you ever wanted to turn up their volume? I have. In fact, just the other day as we were driving in the car Ryan was trying to tell me something. Between the noise of the fan, the hum of the motor, the subdued voice of the child, and the distracting words of his brother, I was having a hard time hearing what Ryan was saying. After asking him to repeat what he said, I actually reached for the volume control knob on my car stereo (which was off) and tried to turn it up. I caught myself and laughed. What's sad is that this is not the first time I have tried turning up Ryan's volume in the car. Am I going deaf? I hope not!
